What kind of wax do you use for your candle products?

Virgin Coconut Soy blend. Along with being known to produce a clean burn, this wax is also biodegradable, natural, vegan, and non-toxic. The quality produces minimal soot and smoke, resulting in a healthier and more environmentally friendly candle. This of course makes it an eco-friendly choice for our environmentally conscious consumers. Other benefits include a longer burn time than other waxes, which means our customers can enjoy their candles for a more extended period.

Do you use essential oils or fragrance oils for your products?

We use a collection of clean, phthalate-free, vegan, and cruelty-free fragrance oils for all of our products. 

Are there any suggestions you have on how to maintain the quality of your candles?

Taking care of your candle not only ensures they burn beautifully, but also enhances the safety and longevity of your favorite scents. Please review these simple Candle Care guidelines to ensure your safety and make the most of your Avoni GI candles:

Candle Care:

Trim the Wick: Before lighting your candles, always trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch. This helps prevent excessive soot, smoking, and uneven burning. A wick that is too long can lead to a larger, hotter, flame.

Keep it Level: Ensure your candle is placed on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. This helps prevent uneven burning and wax pooling.

Avoid Drafts: Drafts from open windows, fans, or air vents can cause your candle to burn unevenly or create a tunneling effect. Burn your candle in a draft-free environment to maximize its life.

Allow the Wax to Pool: During the first burn, it’s important to allow the entire top surface of the candle to melt into a pool of liquid wax. This sets the “memory” of the candle and prevents tunneling on future burns.

Burn Safety: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Place them away from flammable materials and objects.

Store properly: Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Now that I have placed my order, when can I expect my candle to be delivered?

Please allow 48-72 hours for processing on all orders after your payment has been received. You will then be given a tracking number to keep you informed on what step in the shipping/delivery process your order is in. Avoni GI currently ships all orders via USPS services. Please note, holidays and weekends may cause slight delay.
